The Permanent Military Court, presided over by Brigadier General Wissam Fayyad, approved the release on bail of singer Fadel Chaker in the four security cases filed against him, most notably the Abra case.
The court granted Chaker's release in three cases in exchange for bail of LBP100 million for each case, while setting bail at LBP 200 million for the Abra case.
The case files were then referred to the Government Commissioner at the Military Court, Judge Claude Ghanem, who reviewed and approved Shaker's release in the three cases, while he is still reviewing the Abra case to determine whether he will appeal the decision or not.
