Lebanon’s Foreign Ministry strongly condemned the Iranian attacks targeting Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Bahrain, expressing Lebanon’s full solidarity with the four Gulf states and endorsing the statement issued by the Gulf Cooperation Council Secretary-General.
The ministry described the attacks as a blatant violation of state sovereignty, international law and the UN Charter, warning that they threaten international maritime navigation and global energy supplies. It called for an immediate halt to the attacks, full implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 2817, an urgent Security Council session, accountability for those responsible, and resolving disputes through the ongoing negotiating process to preserve regional security and stability.
