Telecommunications Minister Charles Hajj toured telecommunications facilities in Sidon, reaffirming the state’s commitment to restoring essential services and supporting reconstruction in southern Lebanon.
Hajj announced the signing of Sidon’s FTTH fiber-optic network project, saying high-speed internet would boost education, business and investment. He said similar projects would be extended to Nabatieh and Tyre, while outlining plans to restore and upgrade mobile services through Ogero, Touch and Alfa. He also stressed that rebuilding the telecommunications sector is essential to Lebanon’s broader recovery.
