Rifi urges urgent action after bus carrying Lebanese pilgrims crashes in Syria
Former Interior Minister Ashraf Rifi issued an urgent humanitarian appeal after a bus carrying Lebanese pilgrims en route to perform Umrah overturned on the Daraa road in Syria, leaving multiple people dead and injured.
Rifi said some survivors contacted him following the crash, urging immediate intervention and calling on the Lebanese and Syrian authorities to act swiftly to rescue those affected.
