Army Chief discusses framework implementation With UK official
Lebanese Army Commander Rodolphe Haykal met UK Deputy National Security Adviser for International Affairs Barbara Woodward and British Ambassador Hamish Cowell to discuss the army’s role, implementation steps under the framework agreement and support for the military amid Lebanon’s current challenges.
Haykal also met Pakistani Ambassador Salman Athar, who praised the army’s efforts to preserve security and stability. The two reviewed the outcomes of Haykal’s recent visit to Pakistan and ways to implement them.
