Israel Reaffirms Presence in Southern Lebanon
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed that Israel will do everything possible to reach a peace agreement with Lebanon.
He added: “We will remain in the security zone in southern Lebanon whenever necessary, and Iran tried to impose a withdrawal from southern Lebanon, and this will not happen.”
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said: “We are fighting in Lebanon to change the reality, not to restore it, and we will not withdraw from security zones in Lebanon, Syria, and Gaza.”
