Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Hezbollah has suffered significant losses in recent weeks, claiming that only “8% of its missile stockpile remains.”
He also stated that approximately 9,000 Hezbollah fighters have been “eliminated” during the same period.
Netanyahu made the remarks during a visit to southern Lebanon, where he issued a firm message regarding Israel’s military posture in the area. “Hezbollah must leave; there is no place for it in southern Lebanon,” he said, adding that his instructions are to respond immediately to any threat.
The comments come amid ongoing cross-border tensions between Israel and Hezbollah, with continued exchanges of fire reported along the Lebanese border.
