Labor Ministry extends deadline to regularize foreign workers’ status
Labor Minister Mohammad Haidar issued Decision No. 159 extending the implementation of Decision No. 157 of November 16, 2025, allowing employers and foreign workers in violation of regulations governing foreign employment to regularize their legal status until September 30, 2026.
The ministry said the extension aims to facilitate compliance with labor laws, organize the labor market and encourage those concerned to complete the required procedures before the deadline to avoid legal action.
