President Aoun Condemns the Attacks on Bahrain and Kuwait
President of the Republic General Joseph Aoun condemned the attacks targeting both Bahrain and Kuwait, stating that these escalatory acts constitute a flagrant violation of state sovereignty and a direct threat to the region’s security and stability.
President Aoun noted that these attacks are part of an effort to undermine all regional and international efforts and initiatives aimed at ending the war and containing tensions, which requires urgent action by the sponsors of the US-Iranian Memorandum of Understanding and the international community to put an end to these attacks and prevent the region from sliding into further escalation.
The President reaffirmed Lebanon’s full solidarity with Bahrain and Kuwait, calling for dialogue and diplomatic means as the only way to resolve conflicts and preserve regional security.
