Mufti Derian broaches situation in Lebanon and region with Saudi Ambassador
Grand Mufti of the Lebanese Republic, Sheikh Abdel Latif Derian, received in Dar el-Fatwa, Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon Fahd bin Abdulrahman Al-Dosari.
The discussions touched on current developments on the Lebanese and regional arenas, as well as a number of issues of mutual interest.
Ambassador Al-Dosari conveyed to Mufti Derian the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman, as well as their wishes for stability, security, and prosperity for Lebanon and its people.
Mufti Derian wished Ambassador Al-Dosari success in his new mission in Lebanon and reaffirmed his commitment to the longstanding historical ties between Dar Al-Fatwa and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as to further strengthening them across various fields. Mufti Derian also praised the noble positions adopted by Saudi Arabia toward Lebanon and all the Arab and Islamic nations.
