Netanyahu: "Our Mission in Lebanon Is Not Over"
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the Israeli military will remain in the security zone in Lebanon for as long as he remains prime minister.
“Our mission in Lebanon is not over yet, and there is still more that we need to do,” he said, adding: “We are establishing a security buffer zone in southern Lebanon to prevent Hezbollah from carrying out attacks against us.”
On another front, Netanyahu said he did not seek permission from U.S. President Donald Trump before launching the attack on Iran, but rather informed him of the decision.
