Israel on Lebanon: We Will Not Allow the Residents to Return!
The Israeli army announced that it would not “allow residents or Hezbollah militants to return to the areas we have taken control of.”
It stated: “We will allow the Lebanese Army to begin making arrangements to take control of the two pilot areas,” adding that “there are no restrictions on the use of force in response to threats directed against northern towns or our forces.”
It noted that “control of the security zone strengthens our ability to defend the northern towns.
