Salam mourns Tabbara: Left a lasting mark on political, constitutional life
Prime Minister Nawaf Salam expressed deep sorrow over the passing of former minister and legal scholar Dr. Bahij Tabbara, describing his death as a significant loss for Lebanon.
In a post on X, PM Salam wrote: It is with deep sorrow that I mourn the passing of former Minister Dr. Bahij Tabbara - a huge loss for Lebanon. The late was a distinguished legal figure who left a significant mark on Lebanon's political and constitutional life. He was known for his firm belief that state-building begins with the reform of its institutions. His intellectual legacy will remain a reference for future generations. On my behalf and on behalf of the government, I extend my deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to his esteemed family, the legal community, and all those who held him in high regard. May the Lord rest his soul in peace.
