The Forecasting Department at the Lebanese Meteorological Service, under the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, expects humid summer weather to prevail over Lebanon and the eastern Mediterranean over the coming days, with temperatures remaining within seasonal averages. Conditions are expected to become relatively hot early next week, particularly in inland areas.
The department also warned of high waves, especially along the northern coast, and the formation of strong water currents over the next two days.
