Saudi Ambassador meets Social Affairs Minister, talks Lebanon support
Minister of Social Affairs Hanine El Sayed received in her office at the ministry, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Lebanon, Fahd bin Abdulrahman Al-Dosari, who came on an acquaintance visit.
During the meeting, the overall situation in Lebanon was reviewed, particularly in light of the prevailing social and humanitarian challenges, along with the efforts undertaken by the Lebanese government to respond to the needs of the most affected groups, support displaced persons and vulnerable families, and follow up on processes related to return and recovery.
The discussion also addressed the support provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Lebanon, particularly in the humanitarian field, and the importance of continued cooperation and coordination in a way that helps ease the burdens on the Lebanese people and strengthens the capacity of national institutions to respond effectively.
Minister El Sayed expressed her appreciation for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s supportive stance toward Lebanon and its people, stressing the importance of Arab partnership in this critical phase, and the role the Kingdom can play in supporting social and humanitarian stability in Lebanon.
