Berri broaches developments with UK Deputy National Security Adviser, receives UN's Jean Arnault
Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri received in Ain El-Tineh, UK Deputy National Security Adviser Barbara Woodward and her accompanying delegation, in the presence of British Ambassador to Lebanon, Hamish Cowell.
Discussions reportedly focused on the latest political and security developments and the bilateral relations between Lebanon and the United Kingdom.
Speaker Berri also received the Acting head of the United Nations Special Coordinator's Office for Lebanon, Jean Arnault, who came on a protocol visit upon assuming his new duties, in the presence of the UN Humanitarian Coordinator for Lebanon, Imran Riza:
The meeting provided an opportunity to review developments and UN programs in Lebanon.
