Salam: No Agreement Without Full Withdrawal!
Prime Minister Nawaf Salam affirmed that “Lebanon cannot sign any agreement that does not include a full withdrawal of Israeli forces.”
Salam added in an interview with The Washington Post: “We have taken bold decisions and made progress in seizing weapons and banning Hezbollah’s military operations,” stressing that “we cannot live with what is called a buffer zone, where displaced people are not allowed to return to their towns and villages.”
He also urged U.S. President Donald Trump’s administration to “pressure Israel to reduce its demands and end its invasion of the country.”
