The Meteorological Department at the Directorate General of Civil Aviation expects the weather on Thursday to be mostly clear to partly cloudy, with temperatures continuing to rise before returning to seasonal averages.
General conditions:
A mild spring weather pattern is prevailing over Lebanon and the eastern Mediterranean, with temperatures remaining within seasonal averages until Saturday. A noticeable rise in temperatures is then expected, especially along the coast, where they will exceed seasonal averages by around 6 degrees. This will be accompanied by active winds carrying dust.
Average April temperatures: Beirut 15–24°C, Tripoli 13–23°C, and Zahle 9–22°C.
Forecast for Lebanon:
Wednesday: Mostly clear with a rise in temperatures, especially over the mountains and inland areas.
Thursday: Clear to partly cloudy with continued temperature increase, returning to seasonal averages.
Friday: Partly cloudy, becoming partly overcast with high clouds. Temperatures will see a slight additional increase over the mountains and inland, while remaining stable along the coast within seasonal averages. Active winds are expected at night.
Saturday: Cloudy with high clouds and lower humidity. Temperatures will rise significantly, exceeding seasonal averages by around 6 degrees. Winds will strengthen, with a chance of light dust in the air.
