MoPWT to carry out pothole maintenance on Daoura–Tripoli coastal highway
The Ministry of Public Works and Transport announced that it will begin, through a contracting company, pothole maintenance works on the coastal international highway from Daoura toward Tripoli, with works scheduled on the eastbound lane on Friday, April 24, 2026, and on the westbound lane on Saturday, April 25, 2026, as part of routine maintenance aimed at improving road safety and preserving the readiness of this vital artery.
The ministry affirmed its commitment to the highest safety standards and urged citizens to comply with Internal Security Forces’ instructions, adhere to on-site signage, and cooperate to ensure smooth operations and public safety until the works are completed within the specified timeframe.
