U.S. Embassy to its citizens: Leave Lebanon or prepare emergency plans!
The U.S. Embassy in Beirut announced that it is “closely monitoring the security situation in Lebanon, noting that the security environment remains complex and can change rapidly.”
It added: “We urge U.S. citizens to leave Lebanon while commercial flights are still available. We also recommend that U.S. citizens in Lebanon who choose not to leave prepare emergency plans and follow the news for updates.”
