Road works and night diversions on Jbeil–Qartaba route
The Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division issued the following statement:
A contracting company will resume installing reflective road studs on the eastern lane of the highway extending from the Jbeil junction to Qartaba, starting at 10:00 pm on April 21, 2026 until 5:00 am the following day, and on a daily basis until May 10, 2026.
These works will require traffic to be diverted to the coastal road from the Nahr Ibrahim junction towards Jbeil.
Citizens are urged to take note, comply with the instructions of Internal Security Forces personnel, and follow traffic signage to ensure smooth traffic flow.
