Salam also called for intensified communication with Lebanese diplomatic missions to mobilize assistance from expatriates and speed up the distribution of food and medicine arriving in Lebanon to displaced people. To enhance transparency, he asked the information minister to provide the media with the necessary figures and details to help displaced people access information and services.
Morcos added that the prime minister also reviewed preparations at displacement shelters and was briefed on the visit of António Guterres to the Dekwaneh center, where he inspected conditions and aid delivery for displaced people.
