Yesterday, the Israeli army struck the area north of the Litani River, eliminating Rahif Ali Qassem, commander of the missile and rocket system in Hezbollah’s Badr Unit, and Muhammad Baqir Ahmed Ali Maliki, head of the fire control department in the same unit.
The Badr Unit has carried out numerous rocket and missile attacks toward Israel since the start of Operation Roaring Lion. Qassem and Maliki were central commanders overseeing these launches, rebuilding the unit’s infrastructure, and planning and coordinating the strikes that hit Israeli territory on Wednesday.
The Israeli army will continue to act against Hezbollah and its formations to eliminate its operatives, degrade its capabilities, and reduce threats directed at Israel and its citizens.
