Cabinet Session Begins Under PM Nawaf Salam’s Leadership
Prime Minister, Dr. Nawaf Salam, is currently presiding over a Cabinet session attended by Deputy Prime Minister, Dr. Tarek Mitri, and Ministers of Finance Yassin Jaber, Culture Ghassan Salameh, Defense Major General Michel Menassa, Energy and Water Joe Saddi, Tourism Laura Khazen, Social Affairs Haneen El Sayed, Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Youssef Rajji, Economy and Trade Amer Bsat, the Displaced and Information Technology Affairs Kamal Shehadeh, Interior and Municipalities Brigadier General Ahmed Hajjar, Justice Adel Nassar, Telecommunications Charles Hajj, Youth and Sports Nora Bayrakdarian, Education and Higher Education Rima Karami, Industry Joe Issa Khoury, Administrative Development Affairs Fadi Makki, Labor Mohammad Haidar, Public Works and Transport Fayez Rasamny, Agriculture Nizar Hani, Information Paul Morcos, Environment Tamara Zein, and Public Health Rakan Nasreddine.
The session is also attended by the Director-General of the Presidency Antoine Choucair, and the Secretary General of the Council of Ministers, Judge Mahmoud Makkieh.
