Berri discusses Lebanese-Kuwaiti ties with Al-Kharafi Group chairman
Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri met at the second presidency headquarters in Ain El Tineh, with Bader Al-Kharafi, Chairman of the Al-Kharafi Group.
Discussions reportedly touched on the general situation, Lebanese-Kuwaiti relations and ways to strengthen them across various sectors.
Speaker Berri later met with the head of the Defense, Interior and Municipalities Parliamentary Committee, MP Jihad Samad, with whom he discussed the latest political and field developments, the upcoming municipal and mayoral elections, and legislative affairs.
On emerging, MP Samad said they held a tour d'horizon on various local, regional and international issues.
The afternoon, Speaker Berri received Lebanese Democratic Party head, former minister Talal Arslan, in the presence of former Minister Saleh al Gharib.
The meeting addressed the latest political and field developments.
