Salam, Arnault hold talks on south Lebanon and UNIFIL’s future
Prime Minister Nawaf Salam has met with UN Secretary-General’s representative Jean Arnault at the Grand Serail.
The meeting focused on the latest regional developments and the situation in southern Lebanon, as well as international arrangements for the period following the end of UNIFIL’s mandate.
Both sides stressed the importance of keeping Lebanon out of any escalation or developments that may unfold in the region.
