Strida Geagea hails army measures and calls for full state authority across Lebanon

I highly commend the firm measures taken by the Lebanese Army over the past two days to maintain security in Beirut and prevent any security breaches or disruptions to public order.
I hope these steps will mark the beginning of a new phase, one defined by the full and definitive extension of state authority across all Lebanese territory, starting with Greater Beirut. I also hope these measures will become a permanent and sustained approach, rather than remaining limited to specific occasions or dictated by particular circumstances and events.
