Rasamny, Tleis discuss airport taxi regulation and public transport expansion
Public Works Minister Fayez Rasamny met with Bassam Tleis, Amal Movement’s official responsible for municipal and mukhtar affairs and head of the Land Transport Unions and Syndicates, to discuss development projects undertaken by the ministry, the regulation of airport taxi services and the expansion of public transport along the Chtaura–Baalbek–Hermel route.
According to a statement, discussions focused on strengthening public-private sector cooperation in public transport and the importance of completing the necessary preparations to accelerate the project’s transition to implementation.
The meeting also emphasized improving transport services and ensuring they respond more effectively to citizens’ needs.
