Army Chief discusses general situation with Swiss Ambassador
Army Commander General Rodolphe Haykal, on Thursday received Swiss Ambassador to Lebanon, Nicole Ruder, at his Yarzeh office.
Discussions touched on the general situation and the latest developments in Lebanon.
The Swiss ambassador valued the Lebanese Army’s efforts and role in maintaining security and stability, affirming Switzerland’s readiness to provide the necessary support to help achieve a sustainable solution in the country.
Army Commander General Haykal also received the Assistant Secretary General of the Arab League, Abdel Rahman Al-Solh. Discussions focused on the general situation, with emphasis on the importance of supporting the military institution amid the challenges it faces.
