Al-Hadath reported, citing Hezbollah-affiliated media, that arrest warrants had been issued for the head of the party’s Liaison Committee and his aide in connection with the explosives shipment case. It also reported that Hezbollah was threatening to escalate tensions on the domestic front, would not respond to internal pressure rationally, and would reassess the “rules of internal engagement.”
Meanwhile, judicial sources told MTV that reports of judicial warrants being issued against Hezbollah’s Liaison and Coordination Committee chief Hussein Abdullah and his aide Ali Ayoub were untrue.
MP Ibrahim al-Moussawi, a member of Hezbollah’s Loyalty to the Resistance bloc, also wrote on X: “Stop your fabricated nonsense and false rumors. No judicial warrants have been issued against anyone from the party.”
