Saudi Crown Prince meets Syrian president in Riyadh
Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman met Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa in Riyadh on Tuesday, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
SPA did not immediately provide details on the content of their discussions.
Sharaa arrived in the Saudi capital earlier Tuesday for talks with the Saudi crown prince.
Sharaa last met bin Salman in Jeddah on April 21, when the two leaders discussed bilateral relations and regional developments. They most recently spoke by phone on July 30 to discuss bilateral cooperation and efforts to reduce regional tensions.
