Aoun, Souaid discuss monetary stability and financial reforms
President of the Republic Joseph Aoun met Banque du Liban Governor Karim Souaid to discuss monetary stability, conditions in the financial sector, and measures aimed at combating illicit funds and terrorist financing.
The meeting also covered the ongoing financial and banking reform process.
Souaid briefed Aoun on the outcome of his recent meetings in France with senior French Treasury officials, as well as his latest visit to Abu Dhabi.
