October Brings Wild Weather Swings: From Rain to Summer Heat
The Meteorological Department at the Directorate General of Civil Aviation expects Saturday’s weather to be partly cloudy, with fog over the mountains and a slight rise in temperatures. Winds will strengthen, with occasional scattered light rain during the day and prolonged sunny intervals. The weather will gradually stabilize in the evening.

General conditions: Unsettled autumn weather is affecting Lebanon and the eastern Mediterranean due to a low-pressure system centered southwest of Turkey, bringing occasional scattered rain, active winds, thunder and lightning. The unstable conditions will continue until Saturday evening, when the weather will gradually stabilize. Localized instability is expected to return on Monday.
Average October temperatures: Tripoli: 20–29°C; Beirut: 21–29°C; Zahle: 13–27°C.
