Army seizes equipment, materials used to manufacture drugs
The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
An Army unit raided a house and a farm in the Buday area of Baalbek that were being used to store drugs in preparation for distribution. Weapons, military ammunition, a quantity of drugs, as well as machinery and raw materials used to manufacture drugs were seized at the sites.
Other Army units arrested 20 Syrians in the Al-Qaa–Hermel and Chtaura–Zahle areas for moving around Lebanese territory without legal documents.
The seized items were handed over to the relevant authorities, and an investigation into those arrested was launched under the supervision of the competent judiciary.
