President Aoun: Technology, innovation and investment are key elements
President Joseph Aoun discussed with the Deputy Director-General of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), in the presence of Agriculture Minister Nizar Hani, the repercussions of the war on the agricultural sector and support for farmers.
President Aoun said: Priority must be given to affected areas and to strengthening the resilience of the agricultural sector. The needs of the agricultural sector must be turned into projects that are financially viable and implementable.
He added: Technology, innovation and investment are key to strengthening the resilience of Lebanese agriculture.
