Information Ministry, UNESCO to launch national campaign against hate speech
Information Minister Paul Morcos and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) have invited media representatives to attend a press conference launching the National Campaign Against Hate Speech, following an earlier national campaign against disinformation under the slogan, Be Part of the Truth… Not the Disinformation.
The campaign aims to raise media awareness, promote responsible discourse based on respect and diversity, combat hatred and incitement, and foster respect for others and diversity.
The press conference will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, August 13, at the Ministry of Information, sixth floor.
