Culture Minister Ghassan Salameh met at his office at the National Library in Sanayeh with the Lebanese youth delegation set to participate in the International Children’s Cultural Forum in Moscow from the 19th to the 23rd of this month, following an official invitation from the Russian Ministry of Culture.
During the meeting, attended by the young participants’ parents, Salameh praised the level of creative talent demonstrated by the participants, stressing that such forums provide an important platform for promoting cultural dialogue and exchanging experiences among younger generations.
Addressing the participants, he emphasized the importance of cooperation, holding fast to their cultural identity, taking pride in their national heritage, representing Lebanon in the best possible light, continuing to develop their talents through education and training, and building friendships with peers from different cultures, describing this as the true message of the forum.
Salameh affirmed the Ministry’s full support for such initiatives, which open new horizons for talented young people and highlight their role in building bridges of communication among peoples, wishing them continued success.
The Lebanese delegation, whose members have talents in music, painting and acting, includes Lamar Choukeir, Rita Ajaltouni, Lia Fouani, Daniel Namour, Emmanuel Azar and Gael Saadeh.
