Salam attends parliament as Berri chairs legislative session
Prime Minister Nawaf Salam arrived at Parliament to attend the legislative session convened by Speaker Nabih Berri.
The plenary legislative session then got underway, with morning and afternoon sittings scheduled to continue consideration of draft laws and legislative proposals listed on the agenda.
Berri opened the session with a minute of silence in memory of former Deputy Speaker Michel Maalouli.
