Photo: Drug Smuggling Operation From Lebanon to Saudi Arabia Foiled!
The Lebanese Internal Security Forces (ISF) announced that they had foiled an attempt to smuggle drugs to Saudi Arabia through a shipping company.
According to a statement issued by the ISF’s Public Relations Division, the Central Anti-Drug Bureau received information on July 17, 2026, about preparations to smuggle a shipment of drugs to Saudi Arabia.
Following surveillance and monitoring of the shipment, officers arrested the person who was delivering the package at the shipping company. The suspect was identified as H.N., a Lebanese national born in 1977.
A search of the package uncovered approximately 5,000 Captagon pills, which had been professionally concealed inside a flowerpot box.
Legal measures have been taken against the suspect, while the investigation remains ongoing under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities to identify and arrest other individuals involved in the operation.
