Kfarchouba Under Fire… Israeli Forces Push Into the South
Two Israeli Merkava tanks moved toward the Chmais area on the outskirts of Kfarchouba at around 6:00 am, accompanied by an Israeli infantry force.
The force reportedly carried out sweeping operations in the area using machine guns and inspected the site where a fire broke out two days ago on the outskirts of the town, amid a continued Israeli military presence in the area.
Israeli artillery shelling targeted the vicinity of Ali Al-Taher Hill on the outskirts of Nabatieh Al-Fawqa, with the sound of the shelling clearly heard in the area.
The vicinity of the Dabcheh military site in the Nabatieh area also came under sustained Israeli artillery fire, amid an escalation in the intensity of the shelling in the area.
The National News Agency (NNA) also reported that Israeli artillery fire targeted the outskirts of Mansouri in the Tyre district, damaging several homes.
