As part of the daily efforts carried out by Internal Security Forces units to combat crime, particularly theft and pickpocketing incidents across various Lebanese regions, the Information Branch received intelligence regarding an individual involved in carrying out pickpocketing operations in Mount Lebanon.

Following close monitoring, a patrol from the branch managed to arrest him in the Bourj Hammoud area while he was riding a black Sweet-brand motorcycle, which was seized.
During questioning, he confessed to carrying out multiple pickpocketing operations in areas across Mount Lebanon.
The necessary legal measures were taken against him, and he was referred, along with the seized items, to the relevant authorities upon the instructions of the competent judicial authorities.
