Michel Sleiman hails Rasamny’s representation of President Aoun
Former President Michel Sleiman said Minister of Public Works Fayez Rasamny’s representation of President Joseph Aoun at the St. Charbel feast Mass in Annaya was a remarkable expression of Lebanon’s message.
In a statement, Sleiman said Rasamny, accompanied by his wife, represented the president at the celebration held at the Monastery of St. Maron in Annaya, describing St. Charbel as one of Christianity’s greatest saints and among its most renowned figures worldwide.
He said the occasion reflected the true image of Lebanon as a country that embraces its diversity, preserves its spiritual heritage and embodies coexistence through actions rather than words.
