Rasamny meets Kuwaiti Ambassador
Minister of Public Works and Transport Fayez Rasamny met with Kuwaiti Ambassador to Lebanon, Mohammad Sultan Al Shargi, with whom he discussed developments in Lebanon and the region, as well as ways to strengthen bilateral ties.
Rasamny thanked Kuwait for its continued support for Lebanon, particularly during difficult times, and wished Al Shargi success in his new diplomatic post. The ambassador reaffirmed the strength of Lebanese-Kuwaiti relations and his country’s commitment to expanding cooperation in the shared interests of both nations.
Rasamny also received Matthew Luciano, former head of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) office in Lebanon, on a farewell visit marking the end of his tenure, thanking him for his efforts and reaffirming the importance of continued cooperation with the organization.
