Salameh, US Ambassador tour national museum on night of museums
Culture Minister, Ghassan Salameh, and US Ambassador Michel Issa, accompanied by his wife, toured the National Museum in Beirut during the Night of Museums, in the presence of Antiquities Director General Sarkis Khoury and visitors from across Lebanon.
The tour covered the Phoenician, mummies, mosaics, coins and archaeological statues sections. Salameh highlighted ongoing efforts to preserve and rehabilitate the museum as a national cultural landmark.
