Economy Minister Amer Bisat said during a visit to the southern city of Nabatieh that the government’s priority is to restore security, advance reconstruction efforts and support residents through multiple government programs once damage assessments are completed.
Bisat said restoring normal life in southern Lebanon requires the return of public institutions, announcing that the Economy Ministry’s office in Nabatieh will resume full-time operations starting Monday.
He said the visit aimed to assess the extent of destruction in Nabatieh and across the south, stressing that efforts are continuing to restore essential services, including water, electricity, telecommunications and other critical infrastructure.
