Lebanese Forces Leader Samir Geagea received a delegation from the Lebanese American Renaissance Partnership (LARP) at the party’s headquarters in Maarab. The delegation included William Fadel, President of LARP USA; Walid Maalouf, Founder and President Emeritus of LARP USA; Ziad Chammas, Secretary-General of LARP Lebanon; Walid Farhat, Member of the Board of Advisors; Basem Chammas, Vice President of LARP USA; Will Salha, Member of the Board of Advisors; and Josiane Hajj Moussa, Media Advisor for LARP Lebanon.

The meeting was attended by former MP Eddy Abi Lamaa and Joseph Jbeily, members of the Lebanese Forces Executive Committee; former MP Imad Wakim, Assistant Secretary for Expatriate Affairs; former Minister Richard Kouyoumjian, Head of the Foreign Relations Department; and Jean Khashan, Head of the Development Department.

Discussions focused on the latest political developments and the general situation in Lebanon and the wider region, as well as the conditions facing the Lebanese diaspora and the vital role it plays in supporting Lebanon at the national, economic, and development levels.

The participants also explored ways to strengthen cooperation and coordination between the Lebanese Forces and the Lebanese American Renaissance Partnership (LARP) in support of Lebanese expatriates and to further reinforce their ties with their homeland. Particular emphasis was placed on cooperation in the economic, development, social, and cultural sectors, alongside the discussion of a number of initiatives and practical ideas aimed at opening new avenues for collaboration.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides agreed to maintain close coordination and joint efforts to translate the proposals discussed into concrete initiatives and projects, further strengthening the role of the Lebanese diaspora as a key partner in Lebanon’s recovery while reinforcing the bonds of communication and cooperation between resident and expatriate Lebanese.
