Heated Exchange Between Berri and Lebanese Forces MPs
During a debate over an amendment to the Lebanese University’s academic council regulations allowing the university president to run for a second term, MP Antoine Habchi said the law was “tailored for one person.”
MP Georges Okais also said that “no one in this chamber is unaware that its purpose is to extend the mandate of the current university president.”
