Rifi threatens to boycott general amnesty sessions over Sheikh Ahmad Al-Asir’s case
MP Ashraf Rifi wrote on X: I will boycott general amnesty sessions if they do not remove the injustice against Sheikh Ahmad Al-Asir and his wrongly treated associates, and others like them.
Is it reasonable for us to participate in sessions that release drug dealers while failing to free our oppressed men and religious figures?, he asked.
He concluded: This is the height of disgrace and the height of abandonment.
