Berri offers condolences to Qatar’s Emir
Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri sent a message of condolences to Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani following the death of former Qatari Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
In his message, Berri expressed his deep sorrow over the passing of Sheikh Hamad, describing him as a father figure and a leader who devoted himself to Qatar’s progress, stability, and prosperity.
Berri added that Lebanon and the Lebanese people will always remember him as a friend, a healer of wounds, and a supportive hand that stood firmly alongside Lebanon and its people in their pursuit of peace, stability, unity, and progress.
He concluded by extending his condolences on behalf of himself and the Lebanese Parliament to the Qatari Emir, the late Emir’s family, and the Qatari people, praying for patience and solace for them and for the late Sheikh Hamad to rest in paradise.
