MP Hassan Fadlallah said U.S. attacks on Iran aimed to undermine the massive turnout at Ali Khamenei’s funeral, arguing that the war had strengthened Iran and the resistance.
Speaking at a Hezbollah memorial, he said the party remained active on military, popular and regional support fronts, while Iran had made ending Israeli attacks and securing a full withdrawal from Lebanon conditions for any final agreement with Washington.
Fadlallah rejected Lebanon’s framework agreement as serving Israeli interests, accused the authorities of compromising sovereignty, and called for its reversal through national consensus, constitutional principles and resistance to imposed concessions.
